My wife and I recently moved into a home built in the 90’s that needs some renovations. We decided to update our fireplace wall which involved moving the gas line, adding new electrical for the TV, and removing the outdated arch.

Sacramento Remodeling Group does great work! I had my entire kitchen revamped, a big job, that included moving water, electric and gas lines. Nick, the CEO, came to take measurements to provide an estimate which included diagrams showing the new layout of the kitchen. These diagrams are very helpful and were given without having to provide a down payment to start the project, which isn’t the case with all contractors. I appreciate Nick’s honesty in providing and recommending the best route for what I was trying to accomplish, along with his good customer service and communication throughout the process. Antonio along with the entire crew are craftsmen! Construction is laborious work, and the entire crew took pride in their project role and for my house in which they were working on. Their attention to detail and desire to do things right and with quality was much appreciated. I love my kitchen! Nick and the Sacramento Remodeling Group team were everything we could have asked for in a general contractor. This was our first large-scale remodel project and we were unsure about the proper approach. I received several quotes from local general contracting companies. All other companies were subpar in character and vision. Our first meeting with Nick showed his enthusiasm and love for his work. I asked a simple question at the end of each meeting with the companies I had met with. “Do you enjoy your work?” Nick was the only contractor who responded with positivity, passion, and eagerness. Sacramento Remodeling Group did a great job updating our kitchen and the floors . New cabinet doors, soft close drawers, farm sink. Replaced desk/cabinet with new floor to ceiling cabinet, including inside wine rack and tall appliance drawer.
Removed overhead florescent light box.Installed new led ceiling lights. New backsplash.
They created a schedule and stayed on that schedule which included coordination with the best buy in home guys for installation and wiring for our new appliances.
They were courteous, cleaned up each night, arrived when they said they would, and kept us informed at each stage.

I chose this company at the recommendation of a friend from gym who was planning to use them for their kitchen remodel.

I got estimates for my bathroom remodel from 5 different contractors (Stroy, Noor, Caldwell, GVD and Chriswell) around town. I had planned to go with Caldwell Construction because they gave the best price out of the 5 contractors but that best price did not include materials. Now here is the verbiage that got me confused, when Caldwell said I’m paying for ALL of the materials, they meant, I’m covering ALL of the materials – which includes the stuff that I don’t see like concrete and drywall and mud, etc on top of the vanity, the toilet, the shower head, the tiles, etc. I thought the materials I would be covering was the stuff I can see and touch in my bathroom like the toilet or the vanity. So technically if I added up the total cost of ALL of the materials, Caldwell would have cost about the same as the other guys.

Nick from Sacramento Remodeling Group matched the quote Caldwell gave me + included the materials that went into the walls like waterproofing materials, drywall, concrete, pipes, mud, etc… AND ALSO helped me with some of the cost of the materials that were visible like the shower heads, linear drain, vanity, and the toilet.

They were also very agreeable with me when they were getting the work done – meaning they did the work that I wanted, AND the way that I wanted done. Example – the floor tiles were originally done in a staggered pattern but the tile guy came and got me half way through to make sure I liked the patterning. Because of the linear drain, there were random cuts to to make sure the declining slope worked. I didn’t like it, so I asked him to redo the tiling in a linear pattern with cuts to the tiles near the drain more symmetrical. And he redid the entire section he had completed already. He asked if he could say the extra hour and a half to get the flooring done that day… That right there is customer service. And it is only one instance of how accommodating they were in the whole process.

In addition to customer service, the timeline they gave me originally was 10 weeks, they started a week in advance and finished within 5 weeks. Overall, I was able to get my bathroon renovation within my budget, with the materials I wanted, and in the timeline that was sooner than expected.

I don’t normally write a review about businesses unless they really made a difference in the services rendered. These guys made the renovation process pretty stress free and ahead of schedule for me. I will be working with them on future renovations.

I’m an appraiser and I’m trying to figure out a cost to cure for a particular property. I realize that contractors need to see a property in person to come up with a real quote, but I just needed a ball park idea and no one would talk to me.
